Hello this is the holiday I would like to go on next summer: It is to Gran Canaria , Playa Del Ingles in the Neptuno Hotel.
I have stated the 8th September but would also consider the 1st. These are Monday departure dates, there are saturday departures but the flight times are awful and therefore am not really interested in them.
If anyone could 'beat my quote' it would be appreciated
Thanks for your help

Hi there, just a quick note to say have you ever been to playa del ingles before? Me and my other half went a few years back and as 2 20 sumthings were quite shocked!
The gay scene is quite dominant there and there are men only bars/clubs in jumbo centre. It was all a bit in your face for us.
Of course the whole resort is not like this but it is noticable.
I would recommend Maspalomas or Peurto Rico as alternatives if I were to go to Gran Canaria again.

Yeah I've been before, last year, I didn't think the gay scene was too in your face unless you went to the gay areas.
The Yumbo is ok, I found it to be quite gay over one side and less so over the other. There are other areas to go to as well that are fine......0 -

The Yumbo Centre may be gay-orientated but the men-only bars and clubs are in the minority. In fact, many families enjoy the excellent restaurants, shopping and cabaret shows there.
There are lots of other commercial entertainment centres such as Kasbah, Plaza, Irish Centre, to name but a few.
I'm sure if davetrousers has been before he knows what to expect and has specifically chosen the resort and the hotel. My friends stayed in Neptuno this May and enjoyed it so much they are booking up for next.0
