Thanks, maybe I will give that a go. If I had lost loads, I would have considered renewing.
How is everyone else doing their diets?0 -
Try a bootcamp of some kind, that does not only cardio but muscle toning exercise. I'm getting married on Saturday and have been bootcamping most of this year and have lost about 2 stone and 3 dress sizes.
Im dieting extra hard with only 2 days to go lol. Plenty of water each day really helps as well.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -

Not long til my own wedding now, I work odd and long hours and so it was difficult for me to attend classes at any time of the day, and now with the dark evenings, I can no longer go walking (I live in the country) so I went to a Personal Trainer.
Although I haven't lost much weight (only 4/5 lbs) I can see myself toning up and have lost approx 3 inch of my waist and 1.5 inches off my arms which were my major problem areas.
Have 10 sessions left with her and so if I lost a half a pound a week, that would take me down to the nice round figure of 10 st and I'd be happy enough with that.
Love (and yet hate at the same time!!) that hour every week, also try to get out walking or a class early on a Saturday, but usually we have stuff to organise so its not always regular.
I do find the food an issue - I'm a girl that has always liked her grub, and salads every day get a bit boring. Could you suggest an alternative for lunch? Bearing in mind the kitchen facilities at work are basic to say the least (theres a microwave)
Good luck to all the brides on here, keep up the good work

That's awesome Louise!
Skea, for my lunch I have a pitta (less calories than 2 slices of bread) packed with cherry tomatoes, some leaves, ham and wholegrain mustard. It's yummy! With that I have a half fat cheese stick, carrot batons and an apple. This generally fills me up well.
I am getting married in March and being bridesmaid in 8 weeks so massively ramping up my healthy eating!0 -
Had a nice loss on Thursday's session - 2.5 lbs which i was well chuffed with! Id gone in having only eaten my lunch the hour before so felt real full, a pleasant surprise tho!! Had the weekend from hell after tho, with pizza and a big steak sandwich platter thing - back on the straight and narrow this yesterday so hopefully will at least stay the same weight for this weeks weigh in.
Hopefully not knock me back too much - it has been great to see the numbers go down each week!!
Thanks cashewnut for that option, will try tomorrow - have remnants of yesterday's dinner in today, chicken stir fry with cauliflower rice
