    I would hope that you don't need to worry and that you HR Officer will understand employment contracts better than your Head of Business seems to, and that you will receive the 4 weeks notice plus holiday pay that your contract entitles you to.

    I really hope that is the case!


    Thanks to all that have replied, HR have said they will inform me what happens as soon as they investigate it. Will let you all know.

    This might not be true, if they have effectively put him on gardening leave then they can say he is using holiday as part of his notice.

    If they are saying it is PILON then yes, holiday would be on top.
    Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked
  • So it seems I was a bit premature with my judgement.

    They are paying me until the end of June and then paying me any remaining bonus's and holidays which is a relief. Thanks to all that responded!
