Nationwide Flexdirect Account

I want to open a Nationwide Flexdirect Account and wanted to ask if you can set up Standing Orders on this account. I've looked on the website but can't find an answer on there. If you can't can you set up an online transfer to an external account so you can move the £1000 back and forth?

It's a current account.
Therefore you can set up Standing Orders and make transfers out to an external account.0 -
I think the NW account only requires £750 a month to service it......but do check if you are not sure.
There is a demo software on the NW website.
Edit - as others have said it is £1000.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
I have a NW FD account, you can setup SO online as normal. Transfer in then transfer right back out the £1k required

Others have already answered your question, hopefully, but when you sign up don't forget to take advantage of cashback offers available from TCB/Quidco and/or refer-a-friend.I want to open a Nationwide Flexdirect Account and wanted to ask if you can set up Standing Orders on this account. Why do you comment if you think but you don't know? There's no such thing at "the NW account" as they have at least three different current accounts, not counting their Youth current account.
The FlexDirect, subject of this thread, requires a monthly minimum of £1K if you want to receive any interest. If you don't pay in the £1,000, you don't get any interest but there are no other penalties. The interest %age depends on how long you have held the account, and/or whether you hold more than one FlexDirect. See the T&Cs on the Nationwide website for details.
The £750 minimum deposit applies to the FlexAccount which doesn't pay any interest, and isn't the subject of this thread.0 -

You really are a pompous !!! aren't you.
It was obvious we were discussing the account named in the title and I was just suggesting the OP checked if he was not sure. It is not up to me to check for him.
I was relying on my memory and Ok I was wrong, get over it.
As for posting things you are not sure about this seems a case of pot calling the kettle black ("I think....")

I am simply pointing out that you were posting wrong information.

I am actually very sure about things. I was just giving you an opportunity to prove me wrong but I am not surprised you weren't able to.0
