Convert downstairs shower room to a utility room?

We live in a 3 bedroom house and hope to put on the market later in the year. We have three bathrooms!
Loft conversion with shower ensuite
Downstairs two bedrooms with family bathroom
Downstairs, kitchen, extended living room with a wet room. (Not built by us)
Our kitchen is small, a bit of a galley one. I would like to convert the downstairs wet room into a utility room, to house the washing machine, dryer, etc, leavingmore cupboard space in the kitchen
Hubby says leave as it, as you can't have enough bathrooms!
Any thoughts?
Thanks

If you are about to sell I don't see any point in spending money; you don't know what will or will not attract/put off a buyer. If you were staying it would be a different matter.0

Does the downstairs shower room contain a toilet. If so, and if the room will allow, can you leave the toilet in there and still have room for the washing machine/dryer. That would be my preferred option as downstairs toilet is really useful (not that we have one tho but I don't have little children which may be the market you're aiming at when you sell).Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Sell as it is, don't waste money!0

How much will the house be selling for? I imagine most people (myself included) wouldn't pass up the right size property in the right area for the sake of the price of converting a wet room into a utility.0

How big is the wet room?
Stacking washer dryer kit is a small footprint if it can be proteted from the shower.0
