but I'm finding it a bit too sticky to touch. I don't think SPF has worked at all as I've been left with a dark tan on a shiny forehead in recent sunny weeks. Does anyone know of a brand I use with a minimum of 30+ SPF please? I don't mind the price as long as it's not too sticky/thick and creates a shine.
Thanks:p

I use separate products - SenSense SPF 50 for protection and Elemis Marine Cream as a moisturiser. I then spray with La Roche Posay thermal water that takes away any shine.0

I've just started using this, I like it, it's pink not white zinc like!!! It feels like ordinary face moisturiser & you can put make up straight over it.

This is also supposed to be really good

I use Ultrasun factor 50 face cream, which is nice and thick, and absorbs without going white and pasty. I can use it without needing a moisturiser, and my skin is combination veering on dry. When first applied it is shiny, but this fades within a few minutes and you can't see any shine underneath my foundation.
When this tube runs out, I'm planning on getting one of their newer facial sun creams which is also broad spectrum factor 50 but has glycolic acid in it which exfoliates the skin.
Here it is:

I've been using this nearly every day for a couple of years - it's absolutely brilliant!

I',be used Simples SPF 30 one for a couple of years - really cheap - I often buy when on offer or 3for 2 at boots - but even full price its under £5. Really lightweight and its been fine as I suffer hyperpigmentation . worth a try at that priceGrocery Challenge Feb 14 £500 / Spent £572.10!
March 14 £500 / spent £488.45 :j0 -

I attempted to use this several times a few years ago, but I found it really weird - it would kind of rub off into these weird little tinted 'pills' (think bobbly cashmere!) even if I touched my face the bare minimum... It just ended up looking and feeling baaad.
I've read some other reviews that say a similar thing, and although of course many more people don't seem to have this problem, this is the only sun cream I've ever used that has done this to me.0 -

That's a shame - I'm glad I didn't know that before I bought it. I use it just about every day, either under makeup or just on its own and, fortunately, I've never had any problems with it.:)0 -

Another for this one. It's Australian and they take their skincare seriously0
