    No, it's not cheap, but it was easily a Which? Best Buy two or three years ago, beating most motorised strimmers. And it's light (3.5kg); I gave up my petrol strimmer partly due to the weight - with this one, you don't even need a shoulder harness. The spool's easy to change, too.

    But I've said my bit, it's up to you of course.
