PRIZE:

There is one prize consisting of a ten (10) night trip for the winner and one companion to Australia comprising:
• Return, indirect economy class flights with a leading airline from London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh to Australia, arriving in Melbourne and returning from Adelaide;
• One-way private airport transfer between Melbourne Airport and Rendezvous Grand Hotel, Melbourne;
• Three (3) nights’ hotel accommodation in Melbourne at 4.5* Rendezvous Grand Hotel;
• A full-day (8 hours approx.), group Yarra Valley wine experience on a day of the winners’ choice while in Melbourne, including pick up and drop off from the hotel;
• Hire of a compact car (Toyota Corolla or similar) including GPS for eight (8) days with collection from downtown Melbourne returning to Adelaide Airport (to allow travel from Melbourne to Adelaide with stops on route) before return flight to the UK;

All accommodations are on a bed and breakfast basis, based on the winner and their companion sharing a twin or double room (subject to availability). Where the named hotel is not available alternative accommodation of a similar standard will be offered.

Please note that the travel insurance included in the prize is subject to the restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companion to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover where they would not be covered by this insurance including without limitation for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companion is aged 74 years or over.
The car hire is available where the winner or the winner’s companion is a driver aged over 25 and in possession of a full, clean licence held for at least 3 years. Holders of non EU licences must also produce an international permit valid for at least one year. The lead driver must be in a possession of a valid credit card (not a debit card) with a minimum of AUD$4,000 (approximately £2,000, as of June 2015) available for security deposit to collect the car, which is refundable upon safe return of the car and provided the car is returned to the drop off point with the fuel gauge at the same level as when the car was collected. The car includes unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver with nil excess subject to operation of the vehicle in accordance with the car hirer’s terms, theft protection, local taxes and fees. Fuel costs, parking, fines, tolls, additional drivers, surcharge for drivers aged between 21 and 25, charges for late return and any additional equipment are payable locally by the lead driver.
The prize must be taken and completed by 15 November 2016 and cannot be taken from 16 July – 10 August 2015, 18 December 2015 – 17 March 2016 or 16 July – 10 August 2016. This element of the prize is subject to availability at the time of booking and the winner must give the prize provider at least six weeks’ notice of their intended travel dates. Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended.
Flight tickets cannot be upgraded. Changes are not permitted after booking is made. Winner is not eligible to earn air miles on these flights.
Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize. Please note that either the winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit/debit card with available funds of at least £750 in order to check in at each of the hotels for security deposit purposes.
Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or their companion adhere to the visa entry requirements of Australia including but not limited to making a timely application for an eVisitor visa in the case of British Citizens holding a UK passport.
Please note, it is recommended that the winner and their companion follow advice from the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office in respect of travelling outside of the UK before taking up the prize.
It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider.
The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions and activities, attractions, additional treatments, internet charges, in room dining, laundry, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
