I used my credit card to purchase my currency from Travelex for my holiday recently and have noticed on my credit card bill I get charged for a cash advance plus interest.
I was surprised by this. Are others out there aware of this.

I use my HSBC or Nationwide Debit Card, no charges.
I think all Credit Card providers make this charge.0 -
Think you answered your own question in the title, last time I checked foreign currency was still cash0
