Where to get the forms??

Afternoon all,

I am just wandering if someone could tell me where we can get the application forms for child tax credit, Working tax credit, Housing benefit, Council tax benefit and the surestart grant??

I have used the different online calculators an always get very different answers so i have decided to apply for them all then see what the answers come back as.

If someone knows roughly the rates that are given for different people on different pay scales then i can post up my details for you to give me a quick estimate?

Anyway, thanks for any help

Phil

Child Tax Credit & Working Tax Credit are administered by Inland Revenue. You can apply online.

Housing Benefit & Council Tax Benefit are administered by your local council (even though they are national benefits). Thus the forms vary between the different authorities. The criteria are the same wherever you are though.

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
