Toronto Car Hire Under 25 Deals...

Hi there,

I am looking to rent a car in Toronto. However, due to the fact that I'm 24, there is a surcharge of $25 CAD/day (for a 9 day trip, this works out to $250 CAD inc. taxes). Anyone got any ideas on where I can rent a car without this surcharge?

    try canadian affair- they didn't mind that my DH had been driving for less than a year when we hired a 4x4 from them...not sure about any age limit though.

    sorry- it says over 21s can hire, but under 25s pay $25 per day.

    Maybe it's law over there?

    Thanks guys... yeah, it's quite crappy being under 25. But, I do need a car. Thanks for the advise. I called CanadianAffair, and since I didn't book a flight with them, they are charging a £20 admin fee. I think I'll have to go elsewhere.
