They are no longer trading, hence that fact he no longer posts on here. No point, he always used this site as a clever way of marketing.

So you bought a cheap !!!! mattress and are surprised its not lasted?

Sadly I wasn't born with intricate mattress knowledge, or a good way to deduce if one is good value without relying on reviews, or advice from someone else. I don't believe it was 'cheap', I certainly didn't expect it to last a lifetime - but 10 years maybe.

I found there was so much BS about them in the furniture shops etc. Came to the forums and TD seemed to know what he was talking about and was a 'bit of fresh air'. However, the majority of his posts guided to down a specific path.

My mattress has a retail price of 8K, thanks to a family connection it cost half that, but its been a wonderful investment for the past 10 years and should outlive me.

8k! I hope you are in India and that's Rupees.

I just checked the retail price of my mattress a sum of 11k in GBP not rupees, like i said I didn't pay anywhere near that. I figured that seeing as I will spend about a third of my life in bed it makes sense to have a decent sleep.

    Here is the spec:

    Mattress Springs
1.32mm wire springs 52mm in diameter, sewn in individual calico pockets and hand-formed into a honeycomb-nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.
    Mattress Border
23cm deep with four rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Eight horizontal handles on King Size and above. Air vents on all sides. Borders upholstered in coir and wool. Finished with piped ticking.
    Mattress Upholstery
Upholstered with a wool spring protector pad, then 1,000gsm bonded British fleece wool and cotton, plus 1,350gsm hand-teased long-stranded horse tail blended with real Shetland Isle fleece wool and bamboo, enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover and finally overlaid with 900gsm blended real Shetland Isle fleece wool and cotton. Covered with your choice of finest quality Belgian ticking from the Vi-Spring collection. Hand tufted with hand-tied woollen tufts.

Wonderful product and its like angels kissing my body whilst I sleep and to me its good value, its 10 years old and has cost me £400 a year so far, another 10-20-30 years and its a bargain.
