Halfords lorry wrote off my car

Hi,
I parked in Halfords car park to go collect my bike. Upon arriving back to my car the Halfords delivery driver had blocked me in, with not even enough space to get between the lorry and car. After I asked the driver to move the lorry and him refusing, I got the manager. The driver then had a pop at me and the manager. When he drove the lorry forward, he had hit my car and dragged it about 3 feet, puncturing a hole in the side (see photos). We screamed stop but he kept going. He didn't apologies or acknowledge the damage.
Halfords insurers have taken liability and paying for the damage. However the car has been declared a write off. I am wondering if I am entitled to compensation as I am now left with no car, I spent £120 on MOT on 7 May, £98 on tax in June and my insurance has now gone up £200 for when I renew in July!! All in all I lose out on approx £400. Advice on how I should proceed please?
Thanks

Car tax - ur be able to claim the money back for the full months that left on the disc
Mot - no I would very much doubt that one
You say policy goes up £200 - I'm guessing your losing no claims bonus, is it not protected.
At renewal - shop around for a new quote
If they have admitted liability - ask them to arrange a hire car for you, when I had my write off the other driver admitted the accident my car ins gave me a car for 5 days - they negotiated with the other insurers who then paid for the car - that was till I had a cheque for the car - mine took a out 6 weeks to get sorted. Xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Your entitled to your losses, that is what insurance is for. You will get the value of the car plus you can work out a deal with them for a courtesy car. Forget about all the other stuff like the MOT as this is all factored in with the value, a car without an MOT is worthless after all isn't it.0

I did a quote with my "incident" on it. It doesn't affect my NCD and the cheapest insurance is £200 more than what I paid last year. I'm not losing NDC as going through their ins.0

Now do a quote without your 'incident' on it.
You cannot compare last year's premium with a quote requested now.
You need to compare two quotes made on the same day... one with the 'incident' and one without.0 -
Sorry I did do that, and the difference between incident and no incident was £2000

Try calling a broker to look for quotes as they might be able to shed some light as to why the premium would increase.
I had a car v lorry accident last summer, resulting in damage and hire car costs of many thousands, yet my insurance premium actually decreased when I came to renew it in March.0 -
Non fault accidents often cause base premiums to rise. Protecting ncb just protects the level of discount.
Eg ncb 70%
Year 1. Base premium £500. You pay £150.
Year 2, following incident. Base premium £1000. You pay £300.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

and also to make the accident the same age as it will be when your renewal is due.
If you're running quotes through with today's date and showing the accident as two weeks ago, it may give a different premium to what you would receive in say six months time when your renewal is due.0
