vent: Why can't the store have a web site.

Options
Unlike a lot of posts around here I have no issue that the web arm of a company is adiffernet outlet and has different prices.

What does annoy me is that no company actually wants to tell me the shop price online.

Even some that reserve things go out of the way to tell me I pay the store price but do not tell me what it is.

They have this data to charge you so why don't they use it?

Yeah I know it would be effort.

Some chains of stores have differing prices depending on where the store is located, and others may have different prices due to special offers in certain stores.

As you say, the web outlet and store outlets may be different companies and as such one might not have up to date pricing info about the other, something that could possibly lead to grief if a price they give to a customer or potential customer turns out to be incorrect.

Yeah I know now we are talking far to advanced uses of the data which is porobably locked in an outdated system!

Stop making things to easy for them.

Even better just go to the store and check and have a nice day out seeing if you can save 5p on a knob of butter.
