Cheap hostel in London, any advice please?

The only one that I've checked for availability and that doesn't double as a music venue is is Rest Up in the Old Kent Road. £126 for the week.

Are you sure? 12.00 17.00 11.00 17.00 17.00 are the prices from Monday to Thursday. The issue is the weekend at £22.00 and £30.00.

You might end up with nothing. This way, you have at least a place until Friday.

Book the expensive one for the first couple of nights and see if space opens up in somewhere more affordable.

And you can ask your Council for help with housing.

Given that this is the Overseas Travel board there are at least 2 places where this question would have been better placed (UK Holidays and House Buying, Renting and Selling) - although you've had a fair few replies anyway.
