New Job offer. Looking to move house. Will I still get a mortgage if I accept the job

Hi Everyone,
I have been offered a job in a company where I worked previously. They have offered me an increased salary and better terms than my current position. I want to accept the job offer but me and my fiance are right in the middle of looking to move. We have accepted an offer on our house and are now actively looking for a house to buy. The difficulty is we may find a house within the next week that isn't in a chain and things could progress quickly meaning that I could accept the job once everything has gone through, or we may not find somewhere for months which would mean that I could miss out on the job.
I'm not sure how much moving to a new job would affect our mortgage application? Does anybody have any experience of this? My previous employer has said that they would remove any standard probationary period from the contract which would hopefully satisfy any potential lender but I am not sure if it is that straight forward. Our LTV would be 76% so maybe this would work in our favour.
If anyone has any advice or experience of this it would be much appreciated.

I'm in a similar position at the moment but FTB. My independent mortgage broker told me some lenders will accept this provided you have a permanent job offer. I hope it's true!Mortgage overpayments 2018: £4602, 2019: £7870
Mortgage overpayments 2020: £4620
Mortgage 2017 £145K, June 2020 £112.6k
