Suggestions for extended sound recorder?

Hi, I want to record the lyrics for my songs but Sound Recorder only has a 1 minute recording time before you need to press record again to extend the time by another minute, but there's a delay before it starts recording again which just throws everything out of sync.

Is there an extended version of Sound Recorder with unlimited recording - just start recording and stop when finished, no limits or need to keep pressing record? It's gotta be a user friendly interface as I find it difficult to see and navigate the more complex ones. I'm running Windows XP.
