    I use a big variety dependant on the material, glue dots are useful for things like foam and fabric but they work out expensive in the long run.

    The most versatile glues are pva (try sticky stuff) and uhu in the metal tube. Foam is good for a 3D effect.
    The other great buy ive got is some incredibly thin double sided tape from lakeland which comes in 2 widths. Its invaluable for sticking paper as it doesnt wrinkle, is easy to apply and you can get the tape right to the edge. Very clean cut and professional looking IMO.
