The title plans will show the general boundaries and the registers may refer to any rights (easements) over the land/driveway or these can be in deeds referred to as filed on the register.
If the garage/driveway scenario has arisen over time and not reflected on the titles involved then the right to use the access may also have been acquired - 20 years use is the normal minimum around acquiring such rights
