    no you will fine on the friday,the traffic will be manic on the tuesday and the wednesday before glastonbury but on the next three days its ok.they are all in the site by then so we just listen to the music

    Ah yeah, sorry. I meant should I just write off the roadwork section of the M6 and go straight for the Toll, rather than even checking what the traffic is like on the way down?

    The 38 mile detour will take an extra half hour or or so at a constant 70, so it'd be quicker than the direct route if it's any slower than about 40mph.

    Watch out for M6 Junctions 20 - 14. Always jams up around there and there aren't any easy ways to avoid it. Nothing parallel to the road and everything heads in the wrong direction.
