KNighthoodI think Knighthood! It would be well deserved for Martin to be called sir unlike lots of celeb's who raise money for charity etc mostly as a publicity stunt to furthur thier own career!
I believe Martin truly cares about the public's needs and rights's and does a damn sight more than our "line thier pockets, government" and the Royal family who still insist on taking tax payers money even though they are more than self sufficient!
It's nice to see money go back to the people who need it and not to those who don't!
ooooppps went off on a tangent there, but thats my opinion anyway like it or lump it:o0 -
MBEto get one of these awards..don't you just pay for it.. !!!

NothingI voted for nothing. We don't want people thinking Martin has loaned money to the labour party, do we?I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven0

This scandal wasn't linked with the Honours System but with peerages  get your facts straight SaucepotYou should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs:rotfl:

I'll vote when someone can explain to me what each honour stands for - meaning when and why it's awarded - coz I don't understand them
In principal I think it's a bl00dy good idea :T :T :TYou should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs:rotfl:

its been common knowledge for years that £50k buys you whatever gong you like, so wake up and smell the coffee.
If my title wasn't inherited, I'd refute it.I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven0 -
If my title wasn't inherited, I'd refute it.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

MBEUnfortunately, these honours tend to be given to those who are good at screwing money from the public, NOT helping them save. Ie. business tycoons, overpaid executives of inefficient corporations etc. etc.
Well there are exceptions of course, so Martin may just make it...Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0
