Travel insurance for the elderly

I'm in my eighties now and the insurance is expensive, but when I insure by Ryanair they don't ask for ages but just quote one price. What would happen if there was a claim?

What are the age limits of the policy?
If you are booking the insurance for a trip which involves a Ryanair flight, there are no age limits under our single trip policies, however, any insured person aged 65 and over are subject to double the excess under the cancellation & curtailment, medical & treatment expenses and holiday abandonment sections of the policy only.0 -
You'd be covered but check what they say about pre-existing conditions.0

Thanks, nowadays I use Ryanair to visit family in Ireland. Seems best to have their insurance even if the benefits are limited.0
