in Credit cards
Hi
I recently bought a used car (3 weeks ago) from a dealer for £6500 and paid on a credit card.
Car was sold as "... in excellent conditions." and since then it needed a new battery, new brakes and now a new engine fault has developed. Total cost of repairs so far £500 which i have paid already and the new engine fault repair estimate is for another £300 at least.
I'll approach the dealer to have this fixed (the £300), but in case they do not offer to pay i was going to try claim both the £500 + £300 under Section 75.
Never claimed before and was wondering if i have a case... in the event the dealer refuses to pay.
Also i have 20 months interest free on this card and i am worried that by claiming i will lose the 0% rate. Any idea on this?
Thanks
Paul

battery you may be hard pressed, as its a consumable so no real lifeDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
