Kitchen electrics - £925 + VAT?

Hi,
We have had a quote for the following in our kitchen renovation:
- wiring for an induction hob (which needs to come from consumer unit 2 rooms away)
- wiring for fridge and dishwasher (existing wiring nearby, but apparently need to add isolating switches above units, isolating switches were not there in old kitchen)
- fit 8 spotlights in ceiling
- wiring for cooker hood (previous one was recirculation, new one will be extraction)
- 2 new sockets
- wiring for 2 new lights under wall-cupboards.

No idea if £925 + VAT is reasonable or not??
Thanks for advice. We are having a new kitchen due to fire damage, so have not been able do any research beforehand.

Always hard to tell if quotes high or low without seeing what’s involved you can save yourself 20% buy using electrician that’s not VAT registered plenty of small one man bands that aren’t. Time anything from 2 1/2 – 4 days, Labour between £150 - 200 per man, per day does there quote include materials ?

It does not include the above-worktop sockets as we said we wanted to choose those.
