Hi guys

My little sister, 17 years old, will pass her driving test soon, fingers crossed. She will then buy a car.

She wants to insure me on it. I am 24 years old. But 3 years ago I lost my license for drinking driving. 20 month ban.

Will her insurance go up or down with me on it?

It's likely to go up.

If your ban will be 4 years old shortly it may be worth waiting until then as it might make a difference.

If you go down this route, make sure your sister chooses a company who will cover you when your added
