Sell of BG to Shell

We own BG shares and have received a letter, which you need a degree to understand. It tells us that they have been brought by Shell. what are the implications to shareholders?

Out of interest, are they asking you to take any action? I only ask, because I also have some BG shares and haven't received anything.

No action is needed at this point. If you hold your shares through a nominee perhaps they won't contact you until you actually have some sort of election to make, when all the regulatory pre-conditions are in place for them to go ahead. That might be late this year or early next.

Hi. No, there not asking us to take any action. We received a document saying it was happening and we would hear soon.
