Pcspecialist Nifty, Got the installation dvd for windows 7, have installed so much stuff that its a real nightmare to start from scratch again, that is why I have a good number of acronis backups on hand in case windows 7 starts misbehaving, I did try that advanced token manager that I believe you told me about, seems to work a treat so product licencing probably is linked to motherboard or bios as well, not too techy on these things.

The two windows 7 on different partitions seem to work fine all activated etc.

I don't want to really mess up though upgrading windows 7 on one partition to try it out, but if not liking it, reimaging my windows 7 on that partition again only to find that because I didn't take the proper steps to roll back to windows 7 from within windows 10 that my windows 7 key is no longer valid.
Thanks Gjchester as well for your helpful reply

    Thanks

If you ever get to that point wherein you have problems with activation, we'll deal with it then. It's not a difficult issue.
