leaving OVO problem

Hi all, has anyone encountered my problem. I've had my final bill and it shows I was in credit, OVO have refunded me, no problem. Was I wrong. This was all completed & finalised before my dd was meant to be collected at end of month. They are now sending me debt collection emails saying I owe £91. Emailed them with copy of final bill with dates ending 9 May, and the response I'm getting is the £91 is out of my £171 credit, but it makes no sense my final statement is ends 9 May & money they say I owe is from 28th May. Am I being really stupid here?

At what date did the new supplier start billing you .

10th May I transferred over and my new supplier started billing me.

Did the old supplier include May's payment when doing their calculations?

Yes, final statement gives 25 April - 9th May as energy charge dates.

thats nothing,ive been waiting for them to start charging me for electric from a simple meter exchange 11 months ago ....... ive been chasing them for all this time ....... now they have just done it and tried to charge me £185 for two months electric in a summer month .... were lucky if we use £50 in winter a month ....... and couldnt leave till they corrected their records ..... they are xxxx and cant wait to leave.
