6K Maturing Cash ISA

Hi,

I have a Cash ISA maturing next month worth just over 6k (was a 2 year fixed on around 2%).

I'm trying to decide what I should do with it as cash ISA interest rates are pretty poor at the moment. As I see it my options are -

1. Move into my S&S ISA (I usually drip feed this so not sure about putting a large amount in one go - market timing and all that)

2. Move into best cash ISA I can find (on around 1.5% by the looks of it :( )

3. Take out of ISA and into my Santander 123 to boost my 3% interest.

4. Take out and put into peer-to-peer lending to hopefully get 5%+

I don't need the money anytime soon so happy to leave it somewhere for as long as needed. I'm not too risk averse but taking money out of ISA's does seem a bit strange and I've never used P2P lending before so a little cautious about that.

Do any of these sound like good ideas? Anything I'm missing?

Thanks in advance for advice.

PIB :)

Hold back; P2P will be allowed in ISAs from July. Wait to see what the rules are.
Free the dunston one next time too.

    Option 5.

Use TSB & Nationwide accounts at 5% for £4500. Top up Santander with the remainder or put into your S&S ISA.

Then you're guaranteed 5% rather than the risk with p2p.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
