Can we have a 0845 or 0870 number connected with out home phone so we can give all business and company’s the 0845 or 0878 number and give the normal land line number to family and friends, that way we will make money out of the every time they call us trying to sell us additional products’, I would not mind talking to them for hours then as every min that goes by is more money for you.

Ofcom put a stop to revenue sharing on 0870 number ranges a few years back, and there is generally no revenue sharing on 0845 ranges.
But with the upcoming NGSC changes, look into 0844/0843 or 0871/0872 numbers with some nice service charges and see if the provider will give you a payout. Although usually there has to be a minimum threshold earned before anything will be paid.0 -
A guy did this ages ago see: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23869462
If you got a 0845/0870 number you would probaly have to tell caller the service charge.
0870 numbers will be revenue sharing again from 1/7/15
0871/0872 numbers are now classed as premium rate numbers and you would have to comply with the Phone Pay Plus rules to operate one.

The termination rate on 0870 numbers was dropped from about 4p per minute to 0.5p per minute in August 2009 and revenue sharing ceased. On 1 July 2015 revenue sharing returns to 0870 numbers with declared Service Charges of up to 13p per minute, the same as for 0871 and 0872 numbers. A number with a 13p per minute Service Charge should pay out about 9p per minute in revenue share.Ofcom put a stop to revenue sharing on 0870 number ranges a few years back, and there is generally no revenue sharing on 0845 ranges.
087 numbers with a Service Charge of more than 7p per minute are classed as Controlled Premium Rate Services and come under additional PhonepayPlus regulation.
The undeclared Enhanced Termination Rate for 0845 numbers is currently about 2p per minute. Organisations with a large volume of incoming calls can receive up to 0.5p per minute in revenue share payments. Revenue sharing continues after 1 July 2015, but with declared Service Charges of up to 7p per minute, the same as for 0843 and 0844 numbers. A number with a 7p per minute Service Charge should pay out about 3p per minute in revenue share.0
