Investment advice post house sale

Hello
I am unfortunately in the position of having to sell Mum's house as her Deputy via the Court of Protection. We don't need the money to pay her Care Home fees because she has lots of money put away........she has Maturity bonds, NS&I Investment bond, Premium Bonds, ISA....
But the house being left empty now for over a year isn't healthy for the house, it was a wonderful family home with a beautiful garden and needs to be so again. Plus the concerns about it being left empty for another winter grow.
Could anybody please advise how best we should then invest the proceeds from the sale of the house?
Thank you in advance

As the house sale is likely to end up with a tidy sum and you have to be seen to be doing things properly and correctly for your Mum, I would suggest that you seek professional help from an IFA.
