Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has experience of selling a property bought under the Help To Buy Scheme - specifically if anyone has had issues contacting the agent to confirm the redemption figure.
I have accepted an offer on my property which was purchased under the Help To Buy Scheme. I followed the instructions in their redemption guide - got an independent RICS valuation, sent it to Housing Options Plus within 5 days along with confirmation of the offer from the estate agent and solicitors details etc. The guide says they will provide you with their confirmation of the redemption amount within 10 working days and I've heard nothing. This was a month ago. I know they received the documents as they were signed for, I also sent a follow up email with the docs attached as I didn't hear back from them at the 10 day mark. I followed up again by email as when I have tried to call them (at varying times of the day) I just end up on hold for an age.
Really just wondering if anyone out there has had/heard of similar experiences?
