the centre core is the feed , the outer core is the screening , no they have not to touch ,

The cable that comes from the ground (street) would be cable TV etc. The spare cable from the sat. could be used for another TV. If you can not get BBC parliament it means the dish is out of alignment.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

BBC parliament is on transponder 46 along with a bunch of regional BBC stations and even more radio, not really sure how losing that one in isolation is indicative of a mis-aligned dishChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

Just to say, I did this successfully! Only problem was that when the f connectors were on, they were quite loose on the plastic covering of the cable. Best I could come up with was to pinch them with pliers so they'd stay on..0
