Is Decking Covered by Insurance?

Hi
I am wondering if garden decking is usually covered either by NHBC or buildings insurance. Our property is less than 10 years old ie it comes under years 3 to 10 after a property has been built. It is also a shared ownership property.
I am in contact also with the insurance company and our housing association but thought I may get a general idea on here.
Thanks

Not unless it's a part of the structure of the house.
And buildings insurance does not cover wear and tear anyway, if that is the issue. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Your premium will go through the roof not worth it even if it is covered.0

Thanks for your replies. I would have thought decking should last ten years (be guaranteed) in a new build but it seems not."First they came for the Socialists..."0
