Hole in Clothing

My son purchased a pair of Nike joggers online. The first pair had faulty poppers so were returned and refunded as they were out of stock. He has been waiting for a few months for them to come back into stock. He ordered a new pair and they arrived today. They have a 1cm hole in the bottom area. They are out of stock now. He wants to keep them but only been offered 10% discount. He wants a bigger discount. They've said no. Can he do anything more or will he have to accept 10%?

You either accept the discount offered (or negotiate a better offer) or return them for a full refund.

Look at it logically, if there was some sort of law that allowed you a % off for the hole you could argue 99% is reasonable.
Thankfully there isn't - either return them, or accept the 10%.
