intermittent connection to Internet - again...

Been steady for about an hour now....fingers crossed.
I've got an appointment with an engineer later this week anyway and have specified I want them looking at that junction box and sorting the sealing - even if all the water I anticipate got in has drained off by then.0 -
Are all your filters working properly?“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Am too techno-illiterate to know if they are basically - as in not even quite sure what filters are.
An engineer is lined-up for coming here later this week and my provider has made a note on file for them about the heavy rain/"rain" here and that they need to check the junction box for water ingress.
Presumably - though the junction box is on my land then neighbours watering counts as Act of God (ie not under my control), as well as rain itself iyswim.....0 -
If it is the filters then you are likely to cop for the BT OR call out charge .0

The filters are the splitters fitted to all the phone outlets in the house. If one has gone this would affect your internet. To save the £100 callout charge if that is the problem it only cost a few pounds to replace them all.0
