How accurate is Experian 'Matcher'

Hello,
Has anybody used Experian's 'Matcher' service before? This is the service they claim to match credit cards, loans, mobiles etc... to your credit file to enhance the chance of being accepted.
I just checked mine out of interest and was matched to a few different products. Just wondered if this was just a clever bit of marketing or if it was indeed an accurate assessment?

Our Experian CreditMatcher service shows you credit deals matched to your Experian Credit Report, including credit cards, loans and mortgages.
Your report won't change while you consider the options that CreditMatcher finds for you, as only your full and final application to your chosen lender will result in a registered credit search.
I hope this helps buged670, best of luck with your application, if you would like us to take a look through your credit report with you to establish if there are any issues you would like to resolve prior to your application, please get in contact with us.
Regards

Thanks for your reply but it didn't really answer my question? How successful are the applications when applying for the matched products found by the experian credit matcher?
I understand its not 100% guaranteed, and just because a product is found and matched it doesn't mean you will definitely get it... just wondering if anybody has used it to success or failure?0 -
Experian is very misleading.
My "apparent" Experian credit score is 987.
When I tried the match maker it said we base the results on your experience credit score.
So I get my result. Aqua,Capital One Luma,Barclaycard Initial,oh yes and Argos,
So all poor credit cards, yet my score is 987.
Just shows this Experian score is a gimmick, and should not be allowed.
The only thing you need to know is whether you have any adverse history, defaults late payments etc.
If everything is clean on your file and have maintained perfect repayment history for over 2 years then you can get prime credit.
Experian are hypocites and have got people hooked quite literally on these hypothetical scores.
I have the prrof in my own instance.0 -

Thanks for your input... From reading a couple of posts it appears these bad credit products seem to be matched all the time. To me it seems experian and these company's that seem to get matched have a very clever agreement, almost a form of advertising.0 -
Experien are paid by the likes of aqua, vanquis etc to recommend their cards. Total BH0
