High Credit Score and CCJ

Hi, my partner has a CCJ because of a payment demand which was sent to a wrong address. It is now settled and we plan to appeal the CCJ with the help of the company who originally applied for the court order. They admit that it was a clerical error on their behalf.
However, even with the CCJ, her credit score is 997.
We plan to apply for a mortgage soon, will it make it more dificult to get one in joint names with this -ve on her file? To provide some more context, she has over £100k in the bank to put down as a deposit too
Cheers

If the CCJ is on her credit file then it will definitely affect her ability to get a mortgage, or what interest rates you would be offered.

The credit score is irrelevant, no potential lender sees that.

Is the CCJ definitely showing on her credit file - it wasn't settled within a month of the judgement date?

Hi Tixy, yes it is showing on her file. It was a few months until the payment was settled. The correspondance never reached her. It was only when she recieved a letter from Santandar notifying her that they were reducing her credit facility, that she realised what was going on !

If you can hold off on applying for a mortgage until the set aside claim is completed and the CCJ removed that would be worth doing.

If the creditor are helping with the set aside claim then a judge should grant it.

The creditor are saying they don't have record of any change in address, even though my contact there verbally admitted my partner had provided it.
If my claim to set aside the CCJ fails, will I have to pay court costs?
Also, if the creditor did admit their error, would they be liable to Amy costs?
