    Having had an account put into collections with Nationwide many years ago myself - this is most definitely applicable to UK accounts.

    I think your wrong on that one
    Nationwide may have told you your account was in collections, but that would just be an internal thing
    It deffo isn't an actual status that appears on a CRA report
