Motor Insurance claim

Last October someone drove into me on a roundabout. Because the other party was clearly at fault (and we we're on a busy roundabout) neither of us got any independent witness details.
Ten months on and the other party has still not submitted her version of events to my insurer. I've heard verbally that she disputes my version of events but how can I point out that her version is incorrect (she is actually claiming the impact took place at a different exit on the roundabout) if I can't see her version?
Are there any legal obligations to submit a written version in a certain time frame?
