Insurance Cancellation Shortfall

Hi my previous car insurer Premium Choice are claiming there is a shortfall on my policy since I cancelled it. They are saying that the insurer paid 250 back to the financier close brothers, but it is 147 short of what is outstanding.

Has anyone come across this before and am I legally obliged to pay this? What I don't know is why the insurer haven't paid back the full amount?

I was paying by DD hence the credit agreement.

Thanks for the help.

Maybe its a charge triggered because of the early redemption of the loan?

Ask them to itemise the charges you are now being asked to pay.
