Hi, not sure if this is the best place to post, but i'm looking of ways to save or benefit from spending on diesel each month (around £300) through a credit card maybe?
Not sure where best to look on here or for suggestions?

If you plan on charging £300 a month to your credit card for fuel Santander offer the 123 credit card with 3% cash back (though this is capped at £300/month and attracts an Annual Fee of £24.)It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

I was looking into getting the Santander credit card, but be careful I'm not sure that you will get 3% on all petrol/diesel if you purchase it from a supermarket. In the T&C, M & S is classed as a supermarket not a department store, so only get 1%. It also states "3% cashback at all major petrol stations" so I presume that it will be the same for supermarket petrol stations, so you will only get 1%.
Can anyone confirm this, if you already have a Santander credit card.0 -
Certainly Tesco operate their fuel stations as a separate merchant. So 3% cashback for Tesco fuel. No idea about M&S though.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

I've had 3% cashback on fuel from Sainsbury's, ASDA, and Tesco*
*Above refers to big Tesco Extra superstores with filling stations. I'm not sure about the Tesco Express stores with Esso filling stations. I don't use them for petrol.0 -
My son is in a similar position and usually spends under £500 per month on Diesel. He uses a Texaco Fastfuel card because the price is fixed weekly. Check out fuelcards.co.uk0
