Faulty s6 Galaxy...what are my rights

Options
I purchased a s6 galaxy phone about 2 months ago but about a week ago the drop down thingy where I connect to the internet went missing.
I was told by Tesco that it was a Samsung update issue but to be frank I don't want a phone that isn't working, especially when its costing me 40.00 a month as it should but Tesco are refusing to replace or exchange.
I would like to hear your views regarding my rights...thank you

Tesco have offered to send the phone away for repair, as its beyond their 28 day refund deadline but if its an update issue it wont be resolved.

Why not take them up on their offer and then if the repair fails, use that as evidence they should be replacing with a different handset or providing a discount on your bills every month so you can purchase a new one to use for the remainder of the contract?

    No, you are not.

A repair is considered a suitable remedy.

By the way, soga = Sale of Goods Act.
Google would've told you that in an instant.
