    SOGA as pointed out on this thread .
    This is against the vendor whoever it actually is and is UK based .
    Basically as its over 6 months old your claim of faulty would need to be verified by an independent engineers report.

    A letter written and posted to manufacturers head office headed Complaint is what i would also be trying .

    The problem is a "reasonable" amount of time isn't defined and is up to a court to decide.

    Yes you state it hasn't been working for 10 weeks but they've attempted repairs during this time and I assume this time includes shipping to/from also?

    For a consumer coffee machine two weeks wait for a spare part is a pain but I doubt would be seen as "unreasonable".

    I'd be looking to write a full complaint to Amazon HQ, outlining what has gone on, and that you are considering SOGA/legal action... a "friendly" letter before action if you will and see if anything comes of that.
