British Gas Direct Debit
Hi, does anyone know if the amount you pay on a DD can be changed by your supplier without them notifying you.
I have to bank accounts, one of which is for my bills and nothing else. I make sure this account has enough money to cover all my DD's every month so I don't have to worry about missing any bills, however, this month one of my DD's has been returned as unpaid due to insufficient funds because British Gas have increased my DD by £14pm without informing me, so now I will be charged by my bank and by the the DD which was returned.
Do I have any comeback with British Gas?
Thanks for reading
