Nationwide - current accounts not showing online

Anyone else having issues?

  • Yes.. I am, I've logged in and registered that they have disappeared, they are also not showing on the app either, I've tried to call but was on hold for 20 mins... Hope they get this sorted and quickly, a quick google search showed other people are having the same problem so must be a big problem?
  • same here, flex account has disappeared but e-savings is still there. 20 mins on hold so far so their call centre must me massively overloaded.

    Lots of people are complaining about this on Twitter too - Nationwide have answered that they're aware of a 'possible' issue with online banking and current accounts - seems to me, it's more than a 'possible' issue if so many people have got the same issue :)

    Telephone banking now has a recorded message to say they are aware of issue.

    It was fine around 2.30 this morning so something must have happened after that.

    Apparently 6.36 was when it started, also on searching they had the same problem back in 2013. Back then it was a couple of hours before fixing. They also are having faster payments issues according to status page. Slightly concerning.

    Our account has disappeared as well - more than a bit harrowing but at least I know it's not just us.

    Can't sign in to online banking at all with NBS.

    Wonder if there was some 'planned maintenance' overnight?

    Hopefully they will get the Co-op Energy IT experts in to help resolve the problem:o

    Just tried the Mobile App, no luck but click on Service Availabilty and it states Internet Banking, Mobile Banking unavailable and Online Payments queuing and delayed.

    ATM network Operating Normally.

    Website Operating Normally.

    I logged in - no current account. I then looked up the help pages and found how to notify them "If you've tried all of the above and still can't see your account, we'll look in to it for you."

    I then tried to login again and couldn't because they said they were having technical problems.

    I know that the system was offline/unavailable from Sunday at 0000 until approx. 1500hrs for Planned Maintenance.


    Tried it after 1500 yesterday and it was OK
    Cannot get in this morning


    Wonder if it is related to issues with the Planned Maintenance that took place
