Your street - How many?

The street that I live in is all private and consists of 34 houses. nethouseprices shows 4 sales. One in 2001 and 2004 and two in 2003 (including my move into the street). There's a 3 bedroomed house for sale at the moment. I expect this to be lower than average turnover at about 2% per annum.

How many private houses are there in your street and how many sales on nethouseprices?

:)

Too many to work out on my street but I purchased my house 2 years ago now and it still isn't showing on nethouseprices or rightmove etc (never has done!). The flat I sold shows though...

Some must slip through the net...
  • I didn't count the houses in my street either. I typed the street name and town into the Royal Mail's postcode finder (clicky). It returned 34 hits which seems about right. Odd numbering sequence though.

There must be a reason why some sales don't show up. Any ideas? My guess is typing errors at the Land Registry.

108 houses, probably privately owned, bar one which is owned by a Housing Association. Mostly in terraces of 6 but with a few semis at intervals.
    .
    21 on nethouseprices, (6-2002, 4-2003, 3-2004, 4-2005, 3-2006, 1-2007).
There are currently 3 showing on Rightmove, and another has just been removed after showing as under offer for about 3 weeks.

12 houses in our road - we moved in 15 years ago, only one other house changed hands in that time hence nothing listed on nethouseprice or wherever.

In my street there are 94 properties, and 40 property sales in the last 6 years. Strange, because all 15 flats in this block have been sold, yet only 9 are listed on nethouseprices (ours isn't!).

In the adjacent street there are 59 properties, and 26 have been sold since 2000.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
