Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help?
I'm trying to save a Powerpoint slide as a jpeg, however when i do so the resulting jpeg is quite low quality (700 pixels wide approx). Is there some way of improving this quality, as I want to send it to a printers to have some posters printed?
Thanks,
Gavin

Jpeg is a compressed file format. This means that you get a smaller file size <for example, quicker to email to someone> but it reduces the quality.cosmic_surfer wrote:Hi,

You would be better saving the image as a .tif.
See http://www.scantips.com/basics09.html0 -
Even as tif file the resolution is quite low, I think this because power point presentations are designed to be shown on a screen (or projector) and hence the low res which will be no good for posters. You'd be better of designing a poster from scratch in a graphic package such as paint shop pro or fireworks.
