I wonder if anyone can help please. This is my first time posting so hope it's ok.
We're a party of 8 and have booked a skiing holiday with Crystalski. We wanted sole occupancy catered chalet. On 24th January 2015 we found a lovely chalet in Meribel France, leaving Boxing day 2015, booked up (including ski equipment and lift passes) and paid the deposit. A few weeks later, 9th March 2015 we had a phone call to say that due contract issues we couldn't have that chalet but they had found another one at no extra cost. After talking with the rest of our group we decided to take it.
Then on Friday, June 12th 2015 we had another phone call to say that, again, due to contract issues the chalet was no longer available and basically if we wanted to stay in Meribel we would have to share with 4 other people, our party includes 3 children so do not, for our own reasons, want to share. The only other option is to change to a different resort, Val Thorens. We have been told we can have this chalet to ourselves but it's advertised as sleeps 10.
My questions (eventually) are that can they guarantee they wont put 2 other people in our chalet and could we be entitled to any kind of compensation? The lady my husband spoke to on Friday basically said it's those two options or nothing!
Kind regards for any help
Ps we have been paying off the holiday in installments !

Why not ask for them to confirm in writing that you will have exclusive occupation of the chalet. I can't see what compensation you would be entitled to as you have only had a little extra hassle in arranging the holiday and no financial loss that you have stated here.0
