Hi I have a Rangemaster Classic 110 dual fool cooker. The fan oven is not heating though the fan is working. Any advice before I end up having to pay for an engineer to come out? Many thanks.

we had the same symptom on our electric oven, fan working but no heat.
We took a chance and bought a new element from a local electrical shop and my boyfriend took the oven out and replaced the element
Now works perfectly ! Cost of element was about £30. Cost of labour Nil ! (well, ok, he got a kiss or two)0 -
Thanks loobs40. Was it difficult to replace the element?0

I dont think he thought it was particularly difficult. It is a built in oven, so the had to take it out of the casings, but technically I don't think it was hard.

This must be a regular problem - it happened to mine, too! I called Rangemaster and they sent an engineer who fixed it - no charge, even though it was beyond the warranty date. Good customer service. :j[0
